Other duties may be assigned.   - Distributes and prepares materials and products for shipment.     - Reads shipping order, or requisitions to determine and prioritize items to be moved, gathered, or distributed. - Pulls customer orders from stock and conveys orders to shipping department through use of forklift or cart. Verifies that products picked match shipping order and completes necessary documentation. - Consolidates, packages, and/or palletizes products. Labels containers and poles with identifying information. We have an immediate opening for a Project Manager – Product Support at our corporate headquarters in Durham, NC. This is an exciting opportunity to join our Engineering Team that’s part of Cree Lighting’s Product Sustaining group.   The successful candidate will take an integral part in definition, scoping, implementation, validation and delivering supporting solutions for the current product portfolio of indoor and outdoor lighting fixtures. The ideal candidate will both participate in and direct the implementation of supporting activities using modern methods and tools.   As a Project Manager, you are integral in all stages of product support and as such you will participate in and direct the implementation of sustaining activities. You will plan and coordinate support activities (component obsolescence, supplier NCM resolutions, drawing, design and documentation updates, manufacturing issues, etc.) improvement initiatives, and any other activities required to maintain and support all revenue generating products.   This role is within a fast-paced environment and grants license to lead the rapid response to any product Engineering issues with our LED lighting and lighting control solutions for our customers. Strong interpersonal intelligence must be shown in all aspects of project execution interactions with product management, Lighting executive management, and internal project team members. - Deliver strong project management skills, especially the management of project scope and milestone on time deliveries across multiple, concurrent projects. SMT Process Technician - 3rd Shift (Sunday-Thursday, 11pm-7am)   Summary:  This position will be responsible for all aspects of printed circuit board assembly, from setup and installation of new equipment, to ensuring high quality product is delivered for top-level fixture assembly.   A successful candidate will be a resourceful problem solver that is able to work around technical obstacles and implement practical solutions.  The SMT Process Technician is a core member of the Operations team and works with that team to realize world class manufacturing systems and processes.     Job Responsibilities: - Assist with the installation, setup, and qualification of new SMT equipment - Create, debug, and optimize machine programs - 1st level support for PCBA production - Perform preventative maintenance and calibration of electronic circuit board manufacturing equipment and systems - Identify and resolve equipment malfunctions working with manufacturers and field representatives as necessary to assist in troubleshooting and to procure replacement parts - Identify, initiate and implement continuous improvement solutions for process optimization, cost reduction, and yield enhancements - Provide training and support to manufacturing personnel to improve overall capabilities and knowledge - Analyze data to identify and resolve systemic process and performance issues    What you need for success: - 5+ years of experience in printed circuit board assembly - Working knowledge of all aspects of the PCBA process, including: - Stencil Design - Laser Etch Programming - Screen Printer Programming - Solder Paste Inspection Programming - Pick and Place Programming - Automated Optical Inspection Programming - Reflow Profiling - Conformal Coat Programming - Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematic drawings, and engineering instructions for assembling electronics units, applying knowledge of electronic theory and components - Strong ability to troubleshoot and use analytical skills - Mechanically inclined to complete preventative maintenance and to correct machine repairs - Experience with creating equipment ‘standard operating’ procedures - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Ability to work independently and be self-sufficient while managing multiple tasks - Adaptability in a fast-paced environment with a focused execution of tasks - Strong computer software skills and aptitude to learn new software - Attention to safety, quality, and performance - Self-Starter with sense of self-reliance and sense of urgency - Excellent work ethic with the understanding that excellence is a habit - Ability to identify potential safety and performance issues and eliminate them   Highly preferred skills and experience: - Experience starting up a PCBA operation from scratch. - Experience with the following SMT hardware and software suppliers: - ASM - Yestech - Heller - Dage - Asymtek - CAM350 - CircuitCAM - Cogiscan - SMT experience with LED board assembly, including: - Metal Clad - Vacuum Reflow - LED Rework - LED Binning - PCBs up to 4ft in length - De-Panel Process
