The Opportunity

As a Product Marketing Manager, you will lead our Indoor Products category, and to help drive revenue and margin growth across multiple product segments.  In this role you are the Voice of the Customer, responsible for launching and managing industry leading LED lighting products. This position reports to our VP, Product Strategy and is based in our Racine WI, Headquarters.

• Identify opportunities for new product development and product enhancements for assigned product segment.
• Works cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Operations, and Customer Service teams, ensuring that Cree Lighting has the product portfolio, performance, positioning, and pricing to win and is aligned with the Cree Lighting Strategy.
• Partners with internal and external stakeholders, positioning Cree Lighting to meet and exceed revenue and profitability goals.
• Travel up to 30%.

• Ability to communicate with ease cross functionally and at all levels of the business, from the manufacturing floor to Senior Leaders and Company CEOs.
• A demonstrated problem solver, who exhibits exceptional follow-up with a positive demeanor.
• Proven ability to gain trust and respect from customers including executive teams, sales teams, and key stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, in Business, Marketing, or Engineering. Master’s degree in Business (MBA), Marketing, or Engineering
• 3-5 years of experience in Product Marketing, Product Management, or similar experience. LED lighting fixture and industry experience preferred.
• Experience in Petroleum and/or Indoor Commercial verticals and lighting products & applications, highly desirable.
• Proficient in Office 365 and applicable programs.
• Excellent presentation and written communication skills.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Hybrid schedule: Monday – Thursday onsite; Friday remote work
